   As she delves further into the mystery, the young nurse begins to suspect that (name) is poisoning her husband to keep him incapacitated.  But is that what is really going on or is there something more mystical happening? 
   If you’re really interested in finding out the answers to this predictable and unoriginal film then at least wait to rent it on DVD.
  An exciting horror film set in the Louisiana bayou about an evil house with a scary room that can only be opened by the skeleton key and an unbelievably shocking ending.  Well, that’s what it was supposed to be.
   A film about a woman taking care of an elderly couple with some voodoo overtones, a room that was opened and nothing happened, and an ending that’s already been seen on
SG-1 and Angel is what it really was.
   Caroline Ellis (Kate Hudson) is a geriatric nurse working  in a
retirement home because she feels guilty that she didn’t take care of her own father when he was dying.
   After seeing many people pass away without any kind of acknowledgement, she decides to quit and find her own live-in job where she can make a difference.
   Of course, this job is working in the middle of a creepy swamp for a creepy old couple in a creepy haunted house.  She obviously doesn’t have a lot of common sense.
  The husband, Ben Devereaux (John Hurt), recently had a stroke leaving him paralyzed and unable to speak.  His wife, Violet Devereaux (Gena Rowlands), is just too old to care for him alone.
   Caroline is given a skeleton key that can open every room in the house, but there is one room in the
attic that has never been opened.
   The room was the one where two servants, Papa Justify (Ronald McCall) and Mama Cecile (Jeryl Prescott), from a previous owner were caught performing a voodoo ritual with the owner’s children.  The two were immediately hung in the front yard, and their spirits still haunt the house.
   While Caroline does not believe the story, she has a feeling that something terrible is going on.  She begins to study and learn about voodoo and finds a way to open the mysterious door, discovering spell
